The tenth week again delivered, with a major surprise for the Bills proving the 'any Sunday can bring surprises' mantra that draws so many fans into the NFL
That result may have opened opportunities for the Patriots to creep back into a leading position they used to occupy, with a schedule that provides them an advantage over their eight and two rivals
Over in the NFC the Seahawks and Rams had perfect results to set up a major confrontation next week, while our player of the week is chasing records as well as the Most Valuable Player award
Analysis - Just a Bad Day for Buffalo?
Was it just an emotional comedown from beating the Chiefs the previous week or a deeper issue? This remains the question for the Buffalo team to answer
The Bills had won seven in a consecutive games against Miami but were second best from the start as the Miami team ran out 30-13 winners in an eye-opening outcome - and performance
MVP quarterback Josh Allen only got the squad's initial first down in the third period and first points in the fourth - admittedly the Dolphins had 10 days to get ready but it was still a significant failure laid by one of the NFL's top offences
Dolphins quarterback Tua threw two scores but running back Achane was the game-changing factor, with 225 combined yards and two scores
Bottling up the NFL's top rushing attack was crucial too, with Cook and teammates recording just 86 yards, their fewest of the year and just over half their 161.5-yard season average
Additionally there were the three crucial ball losses, and the pair from Josh Allen specifically. An interception in the scoring area meaning a nine minute drive yielded no points, and his final quarter fumble that Miami turned into seven points just two plays
It was classic 'previous Bills teams' as they shot themselves in the foot, getting into a deficit on defense and Josh Allen trying to do too much to dig his team out of it - not the composed, disciplined, balanced Bills we've seen this season
Miami have demonstrated a varied performances this season so the verdict is uncertain on whether this is the start of a trend, but for the Bills they'll need an instant response in a difficult matchup against Tampa Bay in week 11 as the Patriots are sneaking into a nice lead at the top of the AFC East
Spotlight - Patriots See Path to Unexpected First Place
Speaking of the New England, they're one of three different eight and two teams in the NFL, all AFC teams, but could they be the top team?
One could find flaws in the Patriots, the Broncos and the Colts actually for feasting on the weaker opponents, with just five of their combined 24 victories coming against teams with a winning record - and one example was the Indianapolis defeating the Denver
The Broncos beat the champion Eagles in Philadelphia and are masters of the fourth-quarter while Indianapolis can rely on Taylor, but the New England including Sunday's victory in Tampa to their primtime win in Buffalo seems like a declaration
Their pair of losses came in recently appointed coach Mike Vrabel's first three contests, with seven consecutive victories, similar to Denver, since then - but taking down Mayfield after the Buccaneers had a bye to prepare was significant
Drake Maye's MVP claims won't go away, and he definitely earns point for courage after taking some hard tackles in Tampa Bay but hanging in there to steer his team to victory
The defense is solid and first-year running back TreVeyon Henderson burst onto the scene on Sunday with 147 rushing yards and two exciting touchdowns of fifty-five and sixty-nine yards - establishing himself as just the fifth different ball carrier to exceed 22mph this season on his initial touchdown
Although you can argue who 'the best' is statistically, the Pats should be favourites to end with the top record due to their schedule - which includes just a single matchup against a winning team, albeit a significant contest against the Bills
Visiting Baltimore is also tough, but Denver have it more difficult in the AFC West with the Chiefs to play twice, the Chargers (who might also challenge for first place but face the same problem) and also the Green Bay on the fixture list
The Indianapolis also play the Chiefs, and have the Seattle, San Francisco and two matchups with the five and four Jacksonville to contend with. There is a considerable distance to travel but the opportunity is open for a shock top seed in the American Football Conference
Next Week - Rams & Seahawks Prepare for Week 11 Showdown
Two teams with strong arguments to be better than all of the three eight and two sides are National Football Conference West rivals the Seattle and Rams, who each put up forty points to reach 7-2 before the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster meeting between the pair in Los Angeles
Both have won four in a consecutive games, have quarterbacks in Stafford and Sam Darnold performing at an high standard (although Sam Darnold had ball security problems on game day) with excellent pass catchers, and defenses allowing fewer than twenty points a contest
Both could realistically be undefeated as too - particularly the Rams as their two defeats occurred in overtime against the San Francisco and then that painful defeat in Philadelphia when they had a game-winning field goal with the last kick blocked and run back by the Philadelphia for a touchdown
Seattle were also defeated to the 49ers, with a late touchdown in the opening week, before falling to the final play of the game against the Buccaneers - so they are truly two of the best sides in the NFL
The upcoming game on Sunday could be the most exciting of the year to date
Top Performer - Jonathan Taylor
Taylor could be on for a record season after his remarkable performance in Berlin - rushing for 244 rushing yards, scoring three scores and adding another 42 {receiving yards
